Elizabethtown PA Real Estate

Elizabethtown, often referred to as E-Town, is a borough in Lancaster County that is located in the south central part of Pennsylvania. The town was originally founded in 1753 and got its start as an agricultural area. With the addition of a railroad line through the area in the 1930s, it became a thriving town based around small factories that moved to the area. In 1899, Elizabethtown College was established and continues to grow in size to this day.

Elizabethtown sits 21 miles southeast of Harrisburg and 25 miles west of Lancaster, which makes it a growing suburban area for both cities. The residential areas consist of everything from old historic blocks to newly developed neighborhoods.
